Introducing Zionsville Chiropractor Dr. Amber Runnerstrum

My full name is Alana Amber Runnerstrum and I was born in Santa Monica, California.  I went to college at Palmer Chiropractic-West located in San Jose, California and graduated in 1998. I have a wonderful, athletic and health minded husband, Grant (former kicker for USC football).  We enjoy biking, in-line skating, hiking and watching movies.

I was originally led to be a healing practitioner because of the fascination and awe I felt hearing the success stories that my father (a chiropractor) would recount around the dinner table.  His joy was infectious as he told my family of the various patients quickly recovering from awful diseases and debilitating pain and returning to a full life again.  He would tear up as he was telling of his patients' successes and that would in turn tear me up.  I thought wow; he has the best job on earth!  I was so proud to have a dad that could do this.  To have a patient come in to his office in a wheelchair and then walk out.  What a miracle!  To be able to positively change someones' life forever is the most gratifying feeling in the world.  I knew I wanted to have that kind of an impact on people's lives too.

I've chosen to devote my life to the healing arts because I want to continue to feel the joy of helping as many people as possible.  So they, and their family, can have a full and happy life.

I am grateful I trained to become a chiropractor because each day I am rewarded by the life changing miracles that happen in this office - just like my father!  I believe with all my heart in the principle of vitalistic healing, which is that there is a God given inborn intelligence within each one of us!!, giving our bodies the ability to heal and restore from all kinds of human infirmity.

I believe, with all my heart in how I practice and always strive to improve it.  I believe I give an excellent service for a fair fee.  I want to help people. I want you to refer your friends and family and continue to refer patients to me because people are suffering needlessly and it grieves me and probably grieves you too.  Together, we can do something about that.

I established this clinic in the village of Zionsville because I fell in love with it from the first time I drove down Main Street.  This town was like something out of a storybook.  What a fantastic place to live and raise a family.

The whole purpose of this clinic is to help people achieve a level of health and vitality beyond their wildest expectations.  What seems to make this practice unique is the integration of four distinct healing arts;
