Meet Our ‘Assistant’ Ralphie
Did you know that Dr. Whalen has a very special assistant? We don’t mean a Chiropractic Assistant. This helper has four legs! Ralphie has been the official greeter at Zionsville Holistic Chiropractic & Wellness Center since June 2018. Loveable and friendly, Ralphie is a rescue dog and a mix of different breeds.
Ralphie was given to the rescue shelter as he was described as being destructive indoors. But he didn’t have a way to direct his energy. Ralphie is happy to have a home at our practice.
An Endearing Mischief Maker
One of our patients does quilting and she made a small quilted piece to thank Dr. Whalen for the benefits she received from her care. Well, Ralphie got a hold of that piece and chewed it up. Dr. Whalen told the practice member what happened and she made a 2-foot by 2-foot wall hanging with a picture of Ralphie holding the remnant of the ripped piece in his mouth. On the hanging it says Employee of the Month.
A Beloved Member of the Community
When Dr. Whalen is walking in our town, people who drive by often will say, “Hi, Ralphie!” The next time you come into the practice, you can be sure you’ll receive a friendly greeting from our sweet boy.
